Why fibre instead of steel

For cars we build steel carriers, because a car roof is short and an open rack works well. A van roof is long and carries far more bags, so a closed fibre box does the job better. It does not rust, it keeps the weight down, and it keeps out the rain and dust of the Char Dham roads. Fibre can also be moulded to the shape of the van and finished close to its colour.

Which Tempo Traveller sizes do you make carriers for?

Force Tempo Traveller 12, 16, 20 and 25/26 seater, and Force Urbania 12 and 16 seater. Each carrier is built to the roof of that van, so a 12 seater and a 20 seater get different lengths.

What is a fibre (FRP) luggage carrier?

A carrier moulded from fibre reinforced plastic instead of welded steel. It does not rust, is lighter on the roof, and can be made as a closed box that keeps luggage dry in rain and dust.

Do you give a ladder with the tempo traveller carrier?

Yes. Every carrier comes with a ladder free. It is fixed at the back of the van so you can climb up to the carrier to load bags.

How long does a tempo traveller carrier take?

Every carrier is made to order: 5–7 days from booking, then fitting in a few hours at our Dehradun workshop.
